2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY: ZAMFARA SPEAKER SCORES MATAWALLE HIGH ON PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURES
The Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, has commended Governor Bello Matawalle for executing critical public infrastructures in the state.
The Speaker gave the commendation in his Second-year anniversary felicitation message issued in Gusau on Tuesday by Mustapha Jafaru-Kaura, the Director-General, Press Affairs and Public Relations, of the assembly.
Magarya, who was the chairman of the anniversary celebrations committtee, commended Matawale for executing critical public infrastructures of the state, particulary the total overhaul of the state House of Assembly complex.
“On behalf of the Sixth assembly, we congratulate and felicitate the governor and his government on attaining this momentous occasion,” he said.

He said the governor deserved praises for the efforts at purposeful leadership and unprecedented performance in terms of rejuvenating critical public infrastructures and institutionalising governance from the grassroots to the top.
The Speaker noted that the giant strides of the governor have transformed Zamfara from the hitherto crisis-ridden state to a vibrant state basking in economic activities and beacon of social transformations.
He also applauded the efforts of the governor in handling security issues in the state with diligence through kinetic and non-kinetic approaches.
A situation he said had led to the achievement of relative peace in the state.
“The establishment of Directorate of Public Procurement, first of its kind in the state, by Matawalle’s administration and aimed at ensuring transparency in governance is also commendable,” he added.
Magarya also commended the governor for justifying the confidence and mandate given to him in the last two years by the people of the state through his uncommon transformation agenda.
He appealed to residents of the state to continue supporting the present administration in its efforts to take the state to an enviable height.
