600 BENEFIT FROM JIBWIS FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH IN TAMBUWAL, SOKOTO STATE .

No fewer than 600 persons have benefited from the free medical outreach organised by Tambuwal Local Government Youths Committee for Preaching and Guiding of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS, National Headquarters Jos) in Sanyinna District of Tambuwal LGA. 

Speaking to newsmen after the exercise in Sanyinna town, the Tambuwal LGA Chairman of the Committee, Alhaji Rilwanu Aliyu said the outreach was aimed at assist the needy who were suffering from various diseases. 

Aliyu further said that Nine free surgeries were carried out during the exercise.

“As we all know, free medical outreach is one of the activities of this committee and this is inline with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW”

“We learned that many people suffering from various diseases in the society and they couldn’t go to hospitals for treatment due to financial difficulties.

“That is why, we selected Sanyinna District for the 2021 free medical outreach of this committee”, The Chairman said

According to him more than 300 persons benefited from similar exercise conducted by the committee in Faga/Alasan Ward in 2020.

“We also donated health care items to many health facilities and free medical support to various categories of needy in the area”, Aliyu explained. 

He appealed to people especially the well meaning individuals to continue to give financial and moral support to the committee in providing succor to the needy. 

The Leader of Medical Team of the outreach, Sani Bello said more than 600 beneficiaries comprising males and females were given free treatment and medical support.

Bello said that the treated patients include those suffering from of Diabetes, Hypertension, Malaria and Eyes Problems among others while Nine Surgeries were also carried out during the exercise”, Bello said. 

He thanked the beneficiaries and people of Sanyinna town for their cooperation and orderly manner during the exercise. 

In his remark, the District Head of Sanyinna Alhaji Shehu Garba described  the exercise as a timely and welcome development.

Garba commended leaders of the committee for organising the outreach and assured continued support and cooperation to the committee. 

The Monarch also called on other religious organisations to emulate JIBWIS for various activities of propagating Islamic.

The Chairman Council of Ulama JIBWIS Tambuwal LGA, Sheik Bello Dangaladima commended the foresight of the leaders of the committee for organising the outreach. 

Dangaladima promised to continue to support the committee in carrying out its various programmes.

He called on the youths to maximise their efforts towards teaching and guiding the society inline with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. 

In a vote of thanks, the Chairman of the Committee, Sanyinna District, Malam Umar Muhammad commended the leaders of the committee for selecting Sanyinna for the gesture.
