Sambo deserves to continue as Minister- Taraba APC to President-elect Tinubu
The Sentali Ward Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) I’m Jalingo local government area of Taraba State on Tuesday called on President elect Senator Bola Tinubu, President to reappoint Alhaji Mu’azu Sambo, the present Minister of Transportation into his cabinet.
Welfare Director of the party Aliyu Mijinyawa, who spoke on behalf of the ward made the call on Tuesday in Jalingo said that the call became necessary after due consultation by the Executive Council with critical stakeholders.
He said that the minister’s charismatic leadership that led the party to gener the required percentage of votes in the state during both presidential and Governorship elections.
He recalled that Sambo, who doubles as the Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Coordinator in the state had affected the party positively towards funding and moral support for the party.
“We commend and appreciate our son, a patriotic member of our great party and a staunch supporter of our president elect, Bola Tinubu, Alhaji Mu’azu Sambo, Hon. Minister of Transportation. The minister, who has financially supportive strong by character and has always shown strength whenever and wherever it comes to party values and interests.

“Sambo, who doubles also as Tinubu Shettima Camping Coordinator in the state worked tirelessly towards the success of the party at all levels in the state. He was able to deliver his Ward, Local government and the required percentage to the party in Taraba. It is in recognition of these values after due consultation with party members both at the grassroots and critical stakeholders at the Ward level that has informed the decision by the executive council of the party to pass a vote of confidence on the minister.
“We therefore, plead with the incoming administration to reconsider him by giving him another term in office,” he said.
