The Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari has on Saturday revalidated his membership with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and expressed confidence with the strength of the party in the state
Yari revalidated his APC membership at Muhammadu Isah 012 polling unit in Talata-Mafara town, Talata-Mafara LGA.
He expressed confidence with the turnout of the party members at the ongoing exercise in the state.
“This is an indication that the party remain strongest political party in Zamfara, I commend the party members for their cooperation to the exercise.
“As I revalidated my APC membership today in this polling unit, l have the same status with any member of this party whose name is in this register”, Yari said.
He called on the APC members in the state to come out en mass and participate actively in the important exercise.
According to him, the party will use the party register for any opportunity that may come through government.

In a related development, the APC Chieftain in the state, Alhaji Sha’aya Sarkin Fawa described the turn out as a welcome development.
Sarkin-Fawa said the turn out is an indication that the Zamfara is a home of APC.
“The acceptance of APC in the state shows that people of the state are in support with the party leader in the state Abdul’aziz Yari “, he said.
He commended the Yari and Sen Kabiru Marafa for the recent reconcilliation of the warring factions of the party in the state, saying that it would boost the party’s strength in the state.
The exercise was attended by the members of the National Committee for the exercise in the state led by Alhaji Lawal Kareto and APC stalwarts.
