Nasarawa Govt to harness tourism potentials to create jobs, boost IGR
Nasarawa State Government says it would harness its tourism potentials in order to create jobs, boost economy and the revenue base of the state.
Alhaji Ibrahim Angbolo, the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism stated this while speaking in Lafia on Tuesday.
He said the tourism potentials of the state, when properly harnessed would help to improve the standard of living of the people.

Angbolo appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for giving him the opportunity to serve while promising to take the ministry to greater heights.
The commissioner called for the support of relevant stakeholders in the tourism sector in order to develop the sector in the state.
He urged stakeholders to contribute positively to the development of tourism considering its importance to societal development.

“I want to solicit for the support of the staff of the ministry for us to work as a team.
“Your support and team work are necessary to take the tourism sector to the next level of development,” he said.
He also assured of the ministry’s readiness to promote the cultural heritage of the state.
He promised to operate an open door policy and to discharge his duties efficiently .
The commissioner further called on the people of the state to continue to support Gov. Sule’s administration to succeed.
