SPEAKER CONDEMNS MURDER OF ZAMFARA VON CORRESPONDENT, DANJIBGA
The Speaker of Zamfara House of Assembly, Alhaji Bilyaminu Moriki on Thursday condemned the murder of veteran journalist, Alhaji Hamisu Danjibga who was murdered by criminals recently.
Danjibga, who was the State Correspondent, Hausa Service of the Voice of Nigeria (VON) was missing for three days before his corpse was found in a soakaway behind his house on Wednesday.
The speaker in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bello Madaro described Danjibga’s murder as a great loss not only to the deceased family
but Zamfara, Nigeria and entire journalism profession.

“On behalf of my self, my family, entire members and staff of the house, I am extending my condolence to the family of the deceased, Zamfara NUJ Council, state NUJ Correspondent’s Chapel and entire working journalists in the state.”
The speaker also prayed Allah to grant the deceased paradise and give the family courage to bear the loss.
He urged security agencies to investigate and bring the perpetrators of the terrible act to book.
