Gov. Buni Condoles With VP Shettima Over Step mother’s Death

The Yobe state Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON was in Maiduguri today to condole with Vice President Kashim Shettima GCON over the death of his step mother, Hajiya Hauwa Abba Kormi.

Hajiya Hauwa died yesterday after a protracted illness at the age of 69 years. Late Hauwa was buried yesterday according to Islamic rites and is survived by five children. Governor Buni, who led a state delegation, described the death of Hajiya Hauwa as a sad loss to the family, the community, and Borno state.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased in eternal rest and to the family, the fortitude to bear the loss. “May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatu firdaus, and to your family, the government and people of Borno state the fortitude to bear the loss , Gov. Buni prayed.

Vice President Shettima thanked Governor Buni, the government and people of Yobe state, for identifying with their family at this trying moment. “I sincerely appreciate this show of love and concern. I thank you so much, ” the Vice President said.
