PDP Governors In Makurdi
The meeting of People’s Democratic Party Governors is under way in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
The Governors who converged on Makurdi Friday will discuss among other issues the critical security situation in Nigeria and the way forward for the Party ahead of the 2023 elections in Nigeria.

The meeting which was declared open by the Chairman of the Governor’s forum and Governor of Sokoto State Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has in attendance Governors Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Adamawa, Ifeanyi Ugwaunyi Enugu, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike Rivers, Godwin Obaseki, Edo and Ishaku Darius Taraba.

Others are host Governor Samuel Ortom, Ben Okowa Delta, Seyi Makinde Oyo, Douye Diri of Bayelsa, Udom Emmanuel Akwa Ibom, while the Governor of Bauchi State is represented by his Deputy.
The National Chairman of PDP Prince Uche Secondus is also attending.
A communique is expected from the meeting that has gone into a closed door session.
