Adamawa govt. urges residents to remember lessons learnt from END SARS protest
Adamawa Government has called on residents of the state to remember lessons learnt from the END SARS protest and shun the planned protest, which may worsen the economic hardship.
Mr James Iliya, Commissioner for Information, made the call at a media briefing in Yola on Monday.
He said Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri was doing everything to alleviate the sufferings of the people and should be supported instead of protest.
“Gov. Fintri is working round the clock to change the narrative of our State and make life easier for everyone.
“The government of Adamawa, while acknowledging the rights of Nigerians for a free, peaceful and lawful assembly, admonishes the people of the State to avoid gatherings that could provide fertile grounds for miscreants.

“We should therefore ensure that we guard jealously, all that we have in Adamawa in order not to lose what is gained.
“we must, instead, build upon what the governor has done and not to take any action that may lead to destruction at the end of the day,” he said.
Iliya also said, that government has already received part of the fertilizer allocated to Adamawa by the federal government and had started distribution alongside the the ones procured by the State. (NAN)
