Stop using social media to promote immorality, cleric advises youths
Pastor Rotimi James of The Christ Light Church, Ilorin, has advised youths to refrain from using social media to promote immorality.
James gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Saturday in Ilorin.
The cleric said some youths had become agents of immorality through their activities on social media.
He said that many youths spend much time posting and uploading immoral videos and photos to their viewers and friends.
“The society has been polluted due to the advent of internet, which allows people to use their phones to post immoral things without caution.

“The society is going wild as the youth are not guided. They abuse social media to their own advantage.
“This is not good ; our young people should refrain from this for their own benefit and those of others”,he said.
Instead of posting immorality , the cleric urged the youth to explore and take advantage of the opportunities on social media.
The cleric also urged the youths to be disciplined and have fear of God ,in whatever they do.
