Over 100 Less Privileged Beneficiaries Receive Support from Alhaji Kabiru Labbo Jega

More than 100 less privileged individuals, religious and traditional leaders, as well as various organizations in Jega Local Government, have benefited from the philanthropic gesture of Alhaji Kabiru Labbo Jega, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs. The distribution took place on Friday in Jega .
In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Alhaji Yahaya Engineer, praised Alhaji Kabiru Labbo for his continued support for the less privileged in the area. He announced that 150 bags of 50kg rice would be distributed among traditional rulers, religious leaders, various associations, and vulnerable individuals in Jega.
He further noted that before the commencement of the distribution, Alhaji Kabiru Labbo extended his generosity to his neighbors in GRA by giving each a cash gift of N10,000. Additionally, he identified 300 persons with disabilities in his political ward and provided each with N10,000.
Speaking at the event, Alhaji Kabiru Labbo Jega, also known as Ajiyan Jega, said his humanitarian efforts were inspired by Governor Nasir Idris’ commitment to welfare and support for the people. He emphasized that he has been assisting the needy for over a decade, motivated by the rewards of charity in Islam.
He added that most beneficiaries included widows, orphans, youth groups, and other vulnerable members of the community.

Several dignitaries, including Alhaji Mukhtar Sarki Jega and APC Jega Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Yaro Keshi, commended Alhaji Kabiru Labbo for his generosity. They called on other wealthy individuals in the area to emulate his example.
The Chairman of APC, Jega Local Government, Alhaji Yaro Keshi, described Alhaji Kabiru Labbo as a pillar of support for the masses in Jega and beyond.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Safara’u Nasir, Hajiya Alhaji Bawa, and Ibrahim Ba’are, expressed their gratitude, stating that the support would go a long way in easing their burdens. They prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and protection for him.
The event was attended by Jega Local Government Chairman Alhaji Shehu Umar SK, SUBEB Chairman Professor Sulaiman Khalid Jega, district heads, politicians, and other dignitaries, who all commended Ajiyan Jega for his generosity, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
