Blueprint Newspaper Honours Gov. Buni with A Second Excellence Award

Blueprint Newspaper is to honour His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN with another award of excellence  for good governance and service delivery for the second time.

The award is scheduled to be presented to the Governor at the Blueprint annual Lecture and Awards series on Tuesday 22nd July 2025 at the Continental Hotel formerly Sheraton hotel, Abuja.

The Newspaper said the award is in recognition of his outstanding people-oriented leadership that has redefined good governance in Yobe state.

It would be recalled that Governor Buni was first recognized and honoured with an award of excellence by the newspaper in 2022. 

Governor Buni is also a recipient of several awards from some notable newspapers and online media organisations including Leadership Newspaper in 2020, The Sun Newspaper in 2021, Authentic News Daily in 2021, NUJ award in 2022, and Daily Independent Newspaper in 2024 among others.

Last week, the Federal University Gashua, honoured Governor Buni with an Honorary Doctorate degree for his outstanding performance in Education, Healthcare delivery, Agriculture, infrastructural development and employment creation among others. 

Governor Buni had on all occasions dedicated the awards to the people of the state for their resilience, support and cooperation to the policies and programmes of his administration. 

These are indeed worthy recognitions to identify with, and congratulate the indefatigable Governor on this remarkable occasion to appreciate and inspire him to do more to improve the lives of the people.
