NANS Yobe Axis inaugurates it’s executive

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS),Joint Campus Council (JCC) Yobe Axis,has officially inaugurated its 2025 Executive Council.
The inauguration ceremony,which drew students from across the state, was graced by a representative of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
In a keynote address, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Grassroots Mobilization, Mohammed Bazam, conveyed the state government’s unwavering support for the student body.

“The state government will continue to provide the necessary support to move the education sector of Yobe forward,”Bazam stated,
He reaffirming governor Buni administration’s commitment to educational development.
He also commended the students’ union for its active and constructive contributions to the sector.
The gathering elected 17 Executive Council members tasked with steering the affairs of the union.
The newly sworn-in Chairman, Ismail Bello, used his inaugural speech to outline his vision for the tenure.
Bello assured members of his dedication to uplifting the union, promising to work closely with the state government to support its “sound educational policies.”

He emphasized a collaborative approach to addressing student issues and enhancing the academic experience across Yobe State.
In a highlight of the event, three distinguished personalities were decorated with awards of honor for their contributions.
Among the recipients were the Governor’s representative, Mohammed Bazam, and Abdullahi Adamu Bazuwa, acknowledging their roles in supporting grassroots initiatives and student activities in the state.
