Chevron Donates 2 Ambulances To Yobe Govt.

Yobe state government has taken delivery of two ambulances donated by Chevron Nig. Ltd.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Director General press and media affairs to the governor Alhaji Mamman Muhammad Said the commissioner for Health, Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana, received the ambulances on behalf of the state government.

Presenting the ambulances to Governor Mai Mala Buni, the commissioner said the ambulances would be deployed to the maternal and child referral center at the University Teaching Hospital.

Gov. Buni commended Chevron for the support to the government’s agenda of improved healthcare delivery.

He charged the hospital to make good use of the ambulances for the purposes intended with a good maintenance culture.
