Gov. Buni Bags AFAN Best Agricultural Empowerment Governor Of The Year
The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has presented Yobe State Governor Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni with the best Agricultural Empowerment Governor award of the year following his unprecedented agricultural intervention programme for the year 2025/2026.
According to the association, the award was in recognition of Governor Buni’s outstanding commitment to agricultural development for food sufficiency, food security and agricultural prosperity in Yobe State.

AFAN while congratulating Governor Buni charged him to continue supporting agricultural development in the state for him to remain a role model for his colleagues across the country.
The award was received on his behalf by Hon. Nuhu Baba Hassan, Deputy President of the Association for onward delivery to the Governor.
