Speaker commends Nasarawa Assembly management, assures improved welfare
Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau, has commended the management of the Assembly for their significant contributions to effective legislative business and the smooth running of the House.
Jatau also assured the management staff of improved welfare, aimed at enhancing their standard of living and boosting productivity.
The Speaker gave the assurance on Friday while hosting the management of the House at his residence in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of the state.
He lauded the strong collaboration between the management and lawmakers, describing it as critical to the success of legislative activities, and called for its sustenance.
Jatau expressed appreciation to the administrative leadership of the House for their diligence and commitment to duty, noting that their efforts had continued to ease the workload of legislators and improve efficiency.
“I want to sincerely appreciate you for your hard work and dedication to your duties. Your efforts are making a remarkable impact on the overall performance of the House,” he said.
The Speaker assured them of continued motivation and support, stressing that hard work would always be recognised and rewarded.

“As hard work pays, I will continue to motivate and support you to ensure optimal productivity. Be assured that your welfare remains a priority,” Jatau said.
He also urged the management staff to uphold teamwork, unity, peace and tolerance in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Earlier, the Deputy Clerk of the House, Mr Paul Okugya, said the visit was to appreciate the Speaker for consistently identifying with staff in both official and personal engagements.
“During moments of grief, celebration and other life events, you have always shown concern for the staff, alongside your passion for improving our welfare,” Okugya said.
He assured the Speaker of the continued support and cooperation of the staff in achieving the goals of the Assembly.
