OHK sector 2 will conduct demolition exercise of unserviceable ammunition.

The Headquarters Sector 2 Joint Task Force North East Operation hadin kai  Damaturu will conduct a demolition exercise involving the disposal of unserviceable ammunition at the Damaturu Military Cantonment from 14 to 15 March 2026, commencing at  8:AM  daily.

 This is contained in a statement issued and Signed by the acting assistant director sector two Army public relations lieutenant Ibrahim Bishir Kaita and made available to newsmen in Damaturu.

The statement  advise  members of the public, particularly residents of Damaturu and surrounding communities not to panic upon hearing explosions or gunshots within the vicinity of the cantonment during the period of the exercise, as this forms part of routine military demolition activities the statement added.
