Taraba 2027: While I joined the race for Reps- Former FCDA director Galadima

Alhaji Muktar Galadima, a retired Director, Department of Development Control in Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has purchased the Expression of interest and nomination forms for Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking to newsmen in Jalingo, Galadima disclose that he had to join the race in answer to calls from his people who feel they have been underrepresented and have shown confidence in him to represent them well following his track records, and expressed confidence in his ability to represent his people with impact on their wellbeing.
The Town Planner also expressed confidence in winning the House of Representatives seat in the coming general election.
He said that the victory would be determined by his constituent and not the government in power, adding that he was not disturb by the posture of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the ruling party in the state.
“I am very happy today because the process towards actualization of my dream of giving my people a purposive leadership is in the top gear.
“I have just purchased my nomination and my expression of interest form today and I am overwhelmed by the support and goodwill I have received from the people of Wukari/Ibi.

” My intention and aspiration was based on my people’s clarion call for better representation in the national assembly, bearing in mind my antecedent in the services of the Federal Capital Terithory Administration.
“I am very confident and sure of my victory come 2027 and I call on my people not to be disturbed especially as they have the power to decide who gets what in the election,” he added.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Galadima is from Ibi Local Government Area. A Town Planner (TPL) by profession, worked and retired as a director in the FCDA nine years ago.
He has also resigned as a Senior Special Assistant on Development Control to the Minister of FCT to contest for the House of Representatives seat.
