3, 000 Yobe civil servants sat for promotion exam.

The Yobe State Head of civil  Servants Abdullahi Musa Shehu has restarted government firm commitment toward enhancing productivity and efficiency in the civil service to acquaint them with government policies and programs.

 The head of civil service made this known while inspecting the state civil service promotion examination in Damaturu.

 Represented by the permanent secretary public service Dr Hamidu Isah Babi, the head of service expressed satisfaction with the process of the conduct of the 2026 civil service examination reassured government readiness in  improving the welfare packages, conducive working environment to the workers.

 According to him the present administration of governor Mai Mala Buni prioritize in grooming civil servants to be more productive and  efficient for effective service delivery.

Shehu said   three thousand civil servants sat for the 2026  promotion examination across the state.

He stated that the ongoing examination is taking place at  three designated centres including Government Girls Secondary School Damaturu,  Collage of Administration Management and Technology Potiskum and   Umar Sulaiman Collage of Education Gashua respectively.

The head of service said Governor Mai Mala Buni has taken into consideration all the needs of the civil servants toward the seamless succession plan.

In his remarks the Registrar college of administration management and technology Potiskum Alhaji  Babagana Maigari expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examination assured the college readiness to equip civil servants with necessary administrative skills.
