Sokoto: Tinubu Pulled 301,000 Votes To Defeat Stanley In APC 2026 Presidential Primaries

Incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has scored a landslide victory over his opponent for the 2026 APC Presidential Primaries in Sokoto aaaaà having garnered 301,000 votes while Stanly Osifo had none.
Making the announcement Saturday night at the State APC Secretariat, the State Governor, and Chief Collation Officer, Ahmed Aliyu said him, he therefore announced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the primaries in his state.

The governor while thanking all party loyalists and supporters for always being with them, added that what transpired is a pointer to what to expect come 2027 general elections.
“As the Chief Collation Officer of the primaries and Sokoto state governor, Ahmed Aliyu the appointment gives me the right to collect results from the entire
3901 polling units across 23 local government areas of the state, verify same and transmit to the national headquarters of APC for final collation and announcement of results”.

The governor further thanked his mentor and political godfather, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for always believing in him and promised not to let him and the state down, assuring he will continue to deliver good governance for the benefit of all in the state.
Speaking earlier in his welcome address,
the state Chairman of APC, Hon. Haruna Ajiya said the exercise was simply a testament to their believe in internal party’s democracy.
