Enugu Dep. Speaker lauds agency’s people-centred dev’t interventions
The Deputy Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Chief Ezenta Ezeani, has lauded the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) for implementing community-based developmental interventions.
Ezeani, representing Igbo-Etiti East State Constituency, made the commendation, when he paid a courtesy visit to the agency’s General Manager, Chief Monday Ani.
He applauded the agency for bringing government interventions closer to the grassroots.
He said, “It is good that I acknowledge the strategic role of CSDA in driving people-oriented and people-participatory development in communities in the state.”
The lawmaker also advocated for development interventions for the people of his constituency.

Responding, Ani said the visit showed the strong partnership between the legislature and agencies under the executive arm of government meant to advance the development agenda of the State Government.
According to him, the visit underscored the importance of collaboration among government institutions in supporting Gov. Peter Mbah’s vision.
The Voice Media Trust (VMT NEWS) reports that the engagement provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange views on how best to enhance community development and grassroots empowerment initiatives.
They also deliberated on the agency’s ongoing efforts to improve living conditions in communities in the state through the provision of boreholes, public toilets and livelihood support initiatives, among other programmes.
