Nigeria Independence: Wamakko Urges Nigerians To Be Optimistic Despite Challenges

The Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial district and chairman Senate Committee on Defense and Deputy Chairman Committee on anti corruption Aliyu Wamakko has expressed hoped that Nigeria will soon jet out of the present Security Challenges bedeviling it.

Senator Wamakko stated this during the weekend at his Gawon Nama residence shortly after he came back from Abuja.

Wamakko explained that the country Will soon be out of such challenges as various agencies in the country are making a concerted effort towards ending the problems.

He further disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari led government is ever ready to give all necessary support to security agencies with a view to curb the security challenges confronting the nation.

In a statement by his special adviser on new media Bashar Abubakar quoted Wamakko saying the activities of Bandits and kidnappers in some parts of the country is worrisome, adding that prayer is the only answer in arresting the problems.

He prayed Almighty Allah to open the hearts of those wicked persons to repent and stop this ugly trend.

While congratulating Nigerians on the Sixty One Independence Anniversary, Senator Wamakko went down memory lane and said nigeria had transformed widely, in the area of Roads Construction, Water, Electricity supply and infrastructural as well as human capital development.

He called for a collective responsibility towards overcoming all the problems ravaging and bringing set back in the progress of the country.
