Adamawa PDP moves to reconcile aggrieved members — official
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa said it is reaching out to reconcile with aggrieved members of the party over the conduct of recent party’ congresses in the state.
Dr Victor Dogo, the State Publicity Secretary made this known on Tuesday in Yola in an interview with the newsmen.
He blamed the defection of some members to other political parties as acts of personal reasons, adding however that the party would reach out to its aggrieved members in the state to curtail that.
“We are grateful to God that PDP has been able to successfully conduct a very well articulated congress where we had everyone on board and everyone involved.
“It is always like that to have situations whereby you have aggrieved persons.

“With such a situation arising, definitely the first thing that the family is to do is to go back and ask ourselves why are these people aggrieved.
“Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri has instructed that from the party line we should immediately engage them.
“In engaging them we’re not talking about trying to look at what has come out of the congress but why the person must remain a member of the family”, he said.
According to him, the party has successfully inaugurated its executive across the 21 Local Government Areas and they would immediately swing into action to ensure the success of the party in the state and at national level.
