Adamawa State Government Organises Sensitization Workshop On Agricbusiness
The Adamawa State Government has organised a one day sensitization workshop aimed at sensitizing the people on the Adamawa Agricultural Support ADAS programme.
The workshop has drawn participants from Farmers’ Association, Adamawa Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture, Cooperative Societies, Political Parties, the organised labour, media and the General Public.
Speaking at the workshop on Saturday in the Government House, Yola, the Secretary to the State Government SSG Malam Bashir Ahmad said the workshop was to educate stakeholders.

Malam Ahmad reiterated government’s promise to be transparent in its dealings believing that there are different ways of boosting the economic base of the state which agriculture and mineral resources the state is endowed with fall among.
In his presentation, the leader of the team Arewa Research and Development Preject Aminu Buhari said the Agribusiness programme will provide Credit Guarantee Scheme of 5.15 billion that will be used to generate additional IGR in the first year of operations.
