ADAMAWA STATE UNIVERSITY MUBI GETS NEW ACTING REGISTRAR
The Management of Adamawa State University, Mubi has approved the appointment of Mr Belmond Benson as the Acting Registrar of the University with effect from 15th November 2021.
This followed the retirement from service of the former Acting Registrar Mal. Yahya J Bobboi having attained the age for retirement as provided for in the law establishing the University.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter endorsed by the Vice Chancellor. It read in parts that “You are to takeover the running of the affairs of the Registrar’s office pending the appointment of a substantive Registrar.”
Mr Benson ,the incoming Acting Registrar was before his appointment a Deputy Registrar, Establishment. He’s a well groomed University administrator having rose through the ranks as an Administrative Officer to the rank of a Deputy Registrar.

He is a graduate of Public Administration from the University of Maiduguri and holds a Masters degree in the same field from the Adamawa State University, Mubi. He’s currently a PhD student. He is a member of the Institute of Registered Administrative Managers of Nigeria(IRAMN) and Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA). He’s married and blessed with children.
