APC REPS CANDIDATE FOR MARU/BUNGUDU CONSTITUENCY, DONATES SPORTS WEARS TO FOOTBALL CLUBS
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Maru/Bungudu federal constituency in Zamfara State, Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu Zanna has distributed 250 sports wears and balls to football clubs in Bungudu and Maru Local Governments Areas.
Distributing the items to the benefiting clubs on Thursday, Zanna said the gesture was part of his mission to promote sports activities and development in the constituency.
“This is in line with my policy in the fight against youths’ restiveness and reduction of their involvement in crimes.
“As we all know, when I was a house of reps member for Maru/Bungudu constituency between 2015 and 2019, I initiated many projects for sports development.
“Youths engagement in sporting activities and small scale trades reduces their depression and tendencies of involvement in crimes,” he noted.

“I am distributing sports wears and balls to football clubs and associations across 21 wards of the two LGAs.
“This is out of my pleasure to motivate our youths to pursue their dreams in football in future,” he explained.
Zanna appealed to electorates in the state, especially the youth to vote for all APC candidates in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
