APC TRAINS 322 ZAMFARA EXECUTIVES ON LEADERSHIP STRATEGY
The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday organized a day induction and leadership training for 322 party executives in Zamfara.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony of the workshop in Gusau on Monday, the Coordinator of the Workshop, Dr Nura Audi said the participants of the workshop included the state chairman and Secretary, party chairmen and secretaries of the 14 LGs as well as chairmen and secretaries of the 147 wards of the state.
Audi said the training was part of the APC new strategy to enhance party development.
“We were sent to carryout this training by the National Headquarters of the APC led by the National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Gov. Maimala Buni of Yobe.”
According to him, the participants need to have basic knowledge of party membership drive how to handle party members.

“Establishing a Mutual Collaboration, party supremacy and party discipline.
“We will also train the participants on defectors, decampees and returnees, managing prospects and challenges as well as inter-party peace and conflict Resolution, “Audu said.
According to him, other aspects of the training comprised propaganda and publicity, used and mis-used tools in politicking.
“Others include excellent party organization and fund sourcing and priority placement in party expenditure.
“We are going to present certificates of attendance to the participants after the training,”the coordinator explained.
In his remarks, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani commended the Gov Buni- led APC for organizing the training.
Danfulani described the training as a timely as it would enhance the workings of the party in the state.
“We are not surprised with this initiatives, this indicates that the APC is a law-abiding and well organized party.
“This is first of its kind since the creation of the state, we consider this as a great development in educating our party executives at grassroots.
“On behalf of Gov. Bello Matawalle, APC-led government as well as the entire members of the party in the state, I extend our appreciation to Gov Maimala Buni for the support,” he added.
Danfulani further said that Zamfara is a strong home of the APC,”we are therefore, optimistic to the party’s victory in the 2023 general elections.
