Bafarawa mourns Sarkin Hausawa Lagos, donates money to family.

Former governor of Sokoto state Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, Garkuwan Sokoto on Friday expressed sadness over the death of Sarkin Hausawan Lagos, Late Alhaji Sani Kabir, describing the lost as a monumental and tragic loss to the Arewa community in the South, his friends, associates and relatives.
This was contained in letter of condolence personally signed by him and delivered to the family by a special delegation of some Leaders of Hausa Community in Southern Nigeria.

Bafarawa, said that “the death of Late Sarkin Hausawa was a great loss to him as he enjoyed good advice, goodwill and solidarity with great commitment and respect from the late Alhaji Sani Kabir
“I have enjoyed his support and advice during my tenure as a governor of Sokoto state and also during my two presidential aspirations. We will continue to remember him for his uprightness, doggedness and commitment towards the peaceful political emancipation and development of the north in particular and Nigeria in general” said Bafarawa
The Sarkin Hausawa of Lagos State, HRH Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Kabir died last week in Lagos at the age of 57.
Bafarawa also donated some cash to the family of Late Sarkin Hausawa Lagos and pray for forgiveness, reward of paradise to the deceased and extend his deepest sympathy to the family and entire Arewa community residing in Lagos.
Receiving the delegation on behalf of the family, the new Sarkin Hausawa of Lagos, Alhaji Aliyu Sani Kabir commended the good gesture and brotherly affection shown by former governor Attahiru Bafarawa to grieve with the family during this trying period.
He pray Almighty God to bless and give him good health to continue with good work of helping and serving the humanity.
The Bafarawa’s delegation include Hon Saddik Abubakar Sanyinna, Mal Yusuf Dingyadi, Hon Auwall Alhaji, Alhaji Shehu Usman Abeakuta, Alhaji Muhd Danlami Ibadan among others.
