Yet to be apprehended bandits have attacked over 5 villages in the Gidan Karma district of Kware local government, Sokoto state and carted away over 300 cows, 50 camels and hundreds of sheep and goats.

The bandits who started the attacks in

Baringo Jimowa, took the dire devil act to Gidan Yalo, Tudun Gandama, Jingine and  Bayan Dutse few days later.

Narrating the incident to our Correspondent, a local from one of the affected villages, Malam Hashimu Abubakar said, though, the bandits did not kill anybody, but they lost  all their belongings.

“”The deadly armed bandits, stormed our village on foot through the bush in the middle of the night. They shot sporadically into the air for a while before entering house to rob us.

“”While some were controlling our cows, carmel, sheep and goats to a particular place, others who were speaking Hausa but with Fulani intonations entered our houses, collected mobile phones, monies, food stuff, blankets and mosquito nets.

‘”When they were done, the called each other with a whistle and assembled at a place where they gathered our livestock and proceeded into the bush while firing shots to scare any likely pursuit”, Malam Hashinu tearfully narrated.

Other survival, Bello Tangaza who is a reporter with the Voice Of Nigeria (Fulfude) Services said he was on his sick bed in one of the affected villages when the bandits came to his room.

“”Though, they didn’t beat me. They saw cannular on my hands and felt sympathetic with me. I told them I was not fine and they said they can see.

“”Afterwards, they requested that I give them money and I said I don’t have. They just picked up mobile phones and ask if my wife has any and left””.

One of the villagers, Rabiu Hussan who said the bandit that came to his sat down and eat the food they had kept for the next day.

””While he was eating, I summoned courage to ask why are they into such act and his response was simply that, they are perfecting a script that has been written and that most of the influential people in Nigeria who are of their stocks knows about the agenda””.

Though efforts to reach the Caretaker Committee chairman of Kware local government on the development proved unsuccessful as his mobile phone number wasn’t reachable at the time of filing this report.
