Buni congratulates Baba Dala on his SAN conferment

Gov. Mai Mala- Buni of Yobe has congratulated Baba Dala on his conferment with the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

The Voice Media Trust (VMT NEWS) reports that Dala was among those earlier shortlisted by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) for the award.

Buni, in a statement by his Director-General Press and Media Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, in Damaturu on Friday, described Dala as an  “inspiration to the study and practice of law among law students in the state.”

“ He  has made the entire people of Yobe  proud, and he  is a role model to other practicing lawyers as well as students of law from our dear state.

“The elevation is an honour well-deserved, considering the passion and discipline  Dala has exhibited throughout his  practicing years as a legal practitioner.

“He  has always conducted himself with decorum, making law practice attractive,” he said.

The governor called on other professionals in  the state to work hard to excel and be good ambassadors of the state.

Dala was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), National Screening Committee that screened and cleared  President Bola  Tinubu to contest the 2023 General election.

He was enrolled as Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria on November 3,  1988. He is the Principal Partner of Bahama Chambers, Baba Dala & Co., located in Guzape, Abuja.

He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of the United Kingdom and a Certified Capital Market Solicitor of Nigeria.
