Christmas: Gov. Fintiri sues for unity, love

Fintiri made this known in a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou on Wednesday in Yola.
He said that the world would be a better place if the values and virtues reflected by the birth of Christ, were imbibed and practiced faithfully.
Fintiri urged all to give thanks to God Almighty, for the grace, provision, and protection extended to us as individuals, families, communities, as a Nation, and as humans.
“This holy and festive season reminds us of our shared humanity and the common values that unites us, irrespective of religion or tribe.
“Regrettably, the nation has had to contend with the worst security and economic crisis of our time”, he said.
He said that the profound message heralded by Christmas, is Christ’s luminous teachings which continues to inspire hope and possibilities, in spite of the uncertainties confronting the nation.
