Christmas: Yobe Governor Supports 7,000 Christian Residents with Food Items.

As the 2025 Christmas season approaches, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Dr Mai Mala Buni, CON, has distributed food items to 7,000 Christian residents across communities in Yobe State.
Each beneficiary received a bag of rice, a carton of spaghetti, vegetable oil, and semovita to celebrate Christmas with joy and happiness.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, the Executive Secretary of Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Dr Mohammed Goje, stated that the Governor called on all residents of the state to continue embracing peace and to pray for the progress and development of Nigeria.

Commending the gesture, the Yobe State Focal Person on Christian Pilgrimage, Mr Emmanuel Degubi, described Governor Buni as a leader who has remained consistent in supporting Christian communities in the state.

He noted that under Governor Buni’s administration, Christians have continued to receive support during times of disaster, as well as annual assistance during Christmas celebrations, among other forms of support.
