CORBON Flags Off M&E Exercise For Sokoto Batch C N-Power

The chairman, Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), Mr Samson Ameh Opaluwah Wednesday flagged off the monitoring and evaluation component of N-Power Batch C1 trainees in Sokoto.
Addressing the trainees, Ameh Opaluwah said the Batch C1 which consists of the contraction/trade aspect of the N-Power as conceived by the Ministry of humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development is handling.
Noting that they have testimonies that the programme as initiated by the federal government has positively changed may lives, Opaluwah who noted that the programme was a well thought out initiative hence the vision of assisting our youths to acquire skills capable of making them self reliant, as having skilled youths is pivotal to national development.
“”The large turn out of trainees we have seen here today is a testament that the N-Power has help unemployed youths to acquire skills capable of making them self reliant.

“‘And this goes to explain that the prograamme has changed lives of many unemployed youths. It also goes to show that, we are ready to take over the construction industry of our country if we diligently follow this programme””.
While noting that, the era of neglecting Nigerian artisans has come and gone, the CORBON chairman, Opaluwah said the essence of flagging off the monitoring and evaluation exercise became very necessary to help curb cases of incessant cases of building collapse in Nigeria.
