Council boss hails Buni’s development strides in Yobe 

The Chairman Fika Local government area of Yobe state, Honourable Audu Bukar Gadaka has lauded the governor of the state, Mai Mala Buni, for his developmental strides in the state.

In a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja, Hon Gadaka listed some of the governor’s  achievements in the area of human capital development, infrastructure, agriculture, education, health facilities, and building of ultra modern markets, among others.

He also commended of the governor for his people-oriented programmes in the 17 area councils, development of the state capital Damaturu, Fika, Potiskum, Gujba Bursari and Gaidam.

According to the council chairman, Buni had procured gadgets for the the security agencies and the local civilian joint task force to intensify fight against insurgency in the state while urging his people to live in peace and be their brothers’ keeper.

He expressed delight on the governor’s impact on the lives of vulnerable and less privileged in Fika and other council areas of the state, urging them to support his programmes.

Gadaka applauded Governor Buni for training doctors, nurses and midwives as well as building of schools and primary health care centers and dispensaries in the districts of the 17 area councils.

He urged the people of Fika area council to key into the agricultural scheme of the governor as the government had provided farm implements to boost agriculture.

He admonished youths in the area to always be good ambassadors of the  area, urging them to obey the laws of the land and shun drugs, listen and respects elders in their communities as well as engage in entrepreneurship & skill acquisition training to be self reliance.

To the elders, he enjoined them to support government programmes with a view to building the area council.

The council boss said the visionary leadership style of the governor, was in concert with the foundation laid down by the current Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam.
