Easter: Let’s Translate Faith, Prayers Into Action- Governor Fintiri
Adamawa State Governor, the Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON has sent a message of goodwill and best wishes to Christians as they celebrate Easter.
Governor Fintiri urged residents of the State to take the opportunity the Easter season presents to reflect on the suffering and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ that signifies that even suffering has to come to an end.
“And as we enter into this Easter Season, let’s remember that it is a season for sacrificing ourselves, the same season that Jesus was sacrificed for the sake of our sins and peace. He died for our healing and not for destruction.”
He prayed that citizens continue with unity and oneness so that we build Adamawa to become a respected State that the people are proud of. “A State where people forgive each other,” Governor Fintiri said.
He called on Christians to make an effort to spread love by extending a helping hand to the needy this Easter season in line with the excessive love exhibited by the Lord Jesus Christ at the cross.
Reflecting on God’s Role in Adamawa”s Journey, Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of thanking God for the State’s progress and resilience after surviving difficult times.
He encouraged all to translate faith and prayers into action, highlighting that religious beliefs should be shown in how people live and work together.

Governor Fintiri emphasizes the need to advocate for unity and warning against being misled or divided.
The Governor appealed to citizens to work hard, take responsibility for their development, and strive for self-reliance, reiterating his Government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all and the needed resources to be deployed for peace enterprise in the State.
While wishing Christians happy Easter celebrations, the Governor stressed that if people want to stand out, it should be through their actions and the benefits others gain from them.
