Eid-el-Fitr: Gov. Idris calls for unity, prosperity
Gov. Nasir Idris of Kebbi has urged the people of the state and the entire nation to embrace the spirit of peace, security, togetherness, and societal development.
This is contained in his Eid-el-Fitr message in Birnin Kebbi, marking the end of the Ramadan fasting, issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Malam Yahaya Sarki.

Idris emphasised the importance of upholding the values of Ramadan, which include perseverance, piety, and closeness to God.
“Our citizens should intensify prayers for solutions to the challenges facing the nation, which are surmountable, and rekindle hope for a peaceful and prosperous entity,” it said.
Idris reaffirmed commitment to achieving the development goals of his administration, seeking continued support from the people of the state.

“My administration will uphold its legacy of free distribution of grains and other food items to the people, including free fertiliser and agricultural inputs to improve the socioeconomic well-being of all communities.”
“I advise that while leadership at all levels continues to search for credible solutions to national development challenges, it has become incumbent on all and sundry to continue praying to the Almighty Allah.
“May He grant our leaders the wisdom and the capacity to evolve credible measures for national survival,” Idris prayed
