Eid-el-Kabir: Sokoto PDP Felicitates With Muslim Ummah, Urges for fervent prayers

The Sokoto State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the Muslim ummah in the state to use the divine occasion of Eid-el-Kabir to pray fervently for the triumph of justice and the Will of the Almighty Allah in the affairs of the state and the nation in general.
The Party also commends the people of the state, for their resilience and urges them to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir to reinforce their patience, hope and trust in God despite the challenges confronting them.
While congratulating the people of the state, on Eid- el -kabir celebration, the Sokoto State chapter of the PDP used the medium to sympathise with the number of workers especially at the Local Government level and Local Government Education Area (LGEA )who celebrated Sallah festival empty handed with out getting their salary, which is the first of its kind.
In a statement by the state publicity Secretary of the party Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, charges the good people of Sokoto State not to allow the hardship and sense of uncertainty they face at the moment make them lose sight of the essence of the Eid-el-Kabir

Sahabi stated that the demand for selflessness, absolute trust and submission to the Will, Authority and Command of Allah in all issues of life is the reason for the celebration.
“It is saddening that on an occasion like this, a number of workers are observing the period in frustration as they cannot afford the basic necessities to celebrate with their loved ones. Many cannot express their affection by traveling to visit or even sharing with their family members and friends”.
The PDP however called on the people of the state not to despair but use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to further unite in love, support and care for one another at this critical time.
