Emergence of Idris as Kebbi Governor-elect’ll ensure continuity- Aide
Alhaji Aminu Danmusa, a stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi, says the victory of the State’s Governor-elect, Dr Nasiru Idris, will ensure continuity.
Danmusa, Personnel Assistant to the governor-elect, made the assertion when he addressed journalists in Sokoto on Monday.
According to him, the election that led to the victory of APC in the state had generally revealed the will of the electorate to appreciate Gov. Abubakar Bagudu.
“The election, which was conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner, allowed the people of Kebbi to express their will and aspirations.
“This is following the trusted leadership style of Bagudu, who throughout his administration dedicated his time toward improving the standard of education, agriculture, health, security and economy,” he said.
Danmusa added that with the governor-Elect, the people of the state would continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

“Idris as former National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and Deputy-President, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), will surely fulfill his campaign promises to the people of Kebbi state.
“We are confident that his experience in leadership will be of great benefit to our people in such a way that even the opposition parties will join him to fulfill his desire,” he added.
Danmusa further assured the people of the state that the election of Idris to become the governor-elect would never be regretted.
“With Idris as governor of Kebbi and Sen. Bola Tinubu as President, Nigeria, our state will grab the real success and dividends of democracy,” he vowed.
