FULafia gets new VC
The Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has approved the appointment of Prof. Mohamed Isa-Kida as the new Vice-Chancellor of the university.
Mrs Lola Fibisola-Akande, the Chairman, Governing Council of the university, presented the appointment letter to the new VC on Wednesday in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
Isa-Kida, an accountant, was the Dean of the Faculty of Management Science at the institution before his appointment.

The letter signified that the appointment would be for a single tenure of five years starting from Feb. 11, 2026.
Isa-Kida succeeds Prof. Shehu Abdul-Rahman, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, whose tenure is expected to come to an end in Feb. 2026.
The council chairman, while congratulating the appointee, expressed optimism that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear in the growth and development of the university.
