Gov Adeleke commended for health centers renovation in Osun

Governor Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has been commended by the Chairman of the State Primary Health Care Development, Alhaji Adisa Tajudeen for approving renovation of 345 health centers with World Health Organization, WHO standard in all the local governments area of the state.

The Chairman gave this commendation while answering questions from our Correspondent in Osogbo the Osun State capital.

Alhaji Tajudeen said, there are 777 Health centers in all the local governments area of Osun, saying 332 out of it is vocal center while the governor graciously approved 345 for adequate renovations in the local governments area of the state.

Alhaji Tajudeen who described Governor Adeleke’s efforts in bringing world-class health care to the citizens door-steps at no cost to them noted that, the governor is an astute administrator who has really improved on the health sector in Osun State.

The Chairman said, renovation exercise had commenced and it’s ongoing in some areas like, Owode-Ede in Ede North, Ife Central, Ife South, Oriade, Obokun, Imo in Ilesa, Isale-Agbara in Osogbo just to mention a few.

Alhaji Tajudeen pledged that, Governor Adeleke’s administration will not relent in bringing better, sound and improved healthcare services to both the child, mother, father, the elderly and entire citizens of the state.

The Osun State Primary Health Care Development boss urged the entire people of Osun to desist from poor health seeking attitude and should try to come out to make use of the government health facilities close to them.

Alhaji Tajudeen who advised the people to embrace the Osun Health Insurance Scheme, OHIS for them to access quality health care admonished the pensioners and other beneficiaries of the scheme to mobilize people to be patronizing primary health care unit put in place by the state government across the board.
