Gov Aliyu Swears-in SSG, Chief of Staff, Urges Efficient Service Delivery

The Sokoto State Governor Dr Ahmed Aliyu has sworn in Muhammad Bello Sifawa  as Secretary to the State Government and Aminu Haliru Dikko  as Chief of Staff urging them to work harder for effective and efficient service delivery.

Speaking shortly after the swearing in ceremony held at the government house  chamber Sokoto , Aliyu  said the appointment of the duo  is a testament that both are technocrats and seasoned administrators .

He said “Let me congratulate Alhaji Muhammad Bello Sifawa and Alhaji Aminu Haliru Dikko for  their appointment as the secretary to the state government and chief of staff to the government house respectively.

” The decision to bring you  on board , is a testament to your high level of performance, competence, hard work and loyalty when you once served the state”.

“Let me once said that Your appointment is  purely based on merit and  is well deserved,”.

The appointment is a call to greater commitment to the service of the people of Sokoto State and a challenge to exhibit more of those positive attributes as we embark on our nine points agendas to achieve the greater Sokoto of our dream.’’

The Governor further stated that  these were the first set of members of the State Executive Council appointed by this administration.

The event was witnessed by the Deputy Governor Alhaji Muhammad Gobir, Speaker state house of assembly Alhaji Tukur Bala Bodinga,  former Deputy Governor Alhaji Chiso Dattijo, the immediate past minister of police affairs Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi , the APC state chairman Alhaji Isa Sadiq Acida and other dignitaries.
