Gov. Buni Takes Assessment Tour of Wagir, Mutai Primary Healthcare Centres

A massive crowd greets His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN with jubilation while on a surprise assessment tour of Wagir and Mutai Primary Healthcare centres in Gujba local government area on Thursday, 25 September 2025.
The Governor, who expressed satisfaction with the healthcare services provided at the centres, commended the staff for the good maintenance culture and the cleanliness at the two centres.

He directed the Executive Secretary of the Primary Healthcare Management Agency, Dr Babagana Kundi Machina, to forward to his office the requirements for additional facilities to improve services in the facilities.
He assured that the Government would consider absorbing all dedicated casual staff working in the centres.
The governor was accompanied on the assessment visit by the deputy Governor, SSG, the commissioner for health and other top government functionaries.
