GOVERNOR FINTIRI APPEAL TO THE NASS FOR SPEEDY ENACTMENT OF THE NYSC TRUST FUND BILL INTO LAW.

Adamawa state Governor Umaru Fintiri has called on the National Assembly to finalize the passage of the Youth Service Corps Trust Fund Bill into Law.
The Governor made the call during the passing out parade of over 300 Batch A Stream 2 Corps members in Yola the Adamawa state Capital.
According to him,the bill if passed into law will not only boost skills acquisition but also reduce the burden of unemployment on Government in the face of the current economic crisis.

He commends the National Assembly for their efforts in ensuring the bill pass 3rd reading, but appealed to them to maintain the momentum towards finalizing it.
“I must commend the National Assembly and urge them to maintain the momentum in finalizing the passage of National Youth Service Corps Trust Fund Bill into law, which has already pass 3rd reading”. He said.

Fintiri also commends the out going Corps members for displaying patriotism and Selflessness during their one year of serving their fatherland and also charge them to work towards earning an honest living rather than engaging in negative endeavor and other social vices.
Noting that their contributions to the socio-economic well-being of the State in different host communities during their stay has added immense value to the the State:
“I deeply appreciate your contribution to the overall development of the State, particularly in the areas of education, health care, Agriculture and infrastructure as well as the Selfless spirit exhibited in the discharge of your duties in your respective places of primary assignment”.
Meanwhile, State coordinator of NYSC Malam Ibrahim Tukur, while congratulating the Corp members for their excellent performance in their respective places of assignment, said it won’t have been possible without the State Government who gave them enabling environment.
“It is instructive to note that all these wouldn’t have been possible without the conducive and enabling environment created by the State Government as well as the good people of Adamawa state”.
“Thus, i feel obliged to express our profound gratitude to the State Government for all the supports and privileges the scheme is enjoying under the NYSC friendly Governor, His Excellency Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
In particular, we are related at the twin projects of the rapidly ongoing 4.6km road construction to the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Damare as well as His Excellency’s gracious approval of the construction of concrete perimeter fencing for the orientation camp”.
The ceremony ended in an exciting note and jubilation by the coppers which signify their appreciation for their individual experiences.
