Governor Fintiri Commissions Rehabilitated Song Local Government Area
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Friday commissioned the rehabilitated and furnished Song Local Government Secretariat burned by Boko Haram.
The project was carried out by the Multi-sectoral Crisis Recovery Project (MCRP), in collaboration with the Adamawa State Government.
Governor Umaru Finiri said the conflict of the insurgents has diminished public administration capacities as a result of the destruction of public offices, equipment, and systems.

He said the rehabilitation and restoration of local government offices is a key physical precondition to strengthening the recovery efforts and institutional capacity at the local level.

In their remarks, State Coordinator of MCRP Chief Morris Vonobolki and Executive Chairman Song local government area, Alhaji Gidado Abdulsalam saluted federal and state governments for ensuring completion of the work.
