One of Buni’s most notable achievements has been the restoration of security. This has enabled the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to their homes, fostering a sense of normalcy and hope.

Buni’s Administration initiated a Mainstreaming Exercise; it is a form of initiative where a 100 Learners are trained via Accelerated Basic Education Program and then absorbed into Formal education system. The exercises were done across the Sate and varieties of teaching and learning materials were distributed to the pupils and Teachers

Yobe state Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON has extended more empowerment support to women groups across the 17 local government areas of the state. His administration procured many empowerment materials for distribution to women to improve their economy and livelihoods.

**Economic Revival and Health Sector:**
Governor Buni’s economic reforms have been instrumental in revitalizing Yobe’s economy. He has attracted investments in key sectors like agriculture, mining, and infrastructure, creating jobs and boosting economic activity. The establishment of industrial parks and the promotion of small and medium enterprises have further stimulated economic growth.
Mai Mala Buni in his efforts for health sector, has approved the employment of 424 health professionals to be deployed to health facilities across the state.
The Governor approved the employment of 205 nurses and midwives who graduated from the state-owned Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery.
**Infrastructure Development:**
Buni’s administration has undertaken ambitious infrastructure projects, including the construction and rehabilitation of roads, hospitals, and other essential infrastructure. These initiatives have improved connectivity, access to healthcare, and the overall quality of life for Yobe residents.
The signing of the Damaturu fly over contract is a step in the right direction and the making of a befitting state capital. The Damaturu-Kalalawa Dual carriage federal highway Road reconstruction ongoing at the moment.

Gov. Buni Commissioned Buni Gari Water Treatment plant, Water Quality Lab. The Buni Gari dam has a 243 million litters capacity with a treatment plant of 300,000 litters daily capacity “it has an intake structure, pumping system, generator and solar system. The project is expected to solve the age-long water scarcity in Buni Gari, Buni Yadi and other adjoining communities.
