Monarch lauds Matawalle for meeting Yari, Marafa to promote unity in Zamfara
The District Head of Karal of Gusau Emirate Council in Zamfara State, Alhaji Jamilu Aliyu-Zanna has commended Gov. Bello Matawalle for meeting the former gov of the State, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari and Sen. Kabiru Marafa aimed at ending political crisis in the state.
The district head made the call while speaking to newsmen in Gusau described the forsight of Matawalle to meet the two leaders as a welcome development.
“This is very commendable efforts and timely, because the unity between the leaders, apart from ending political crisis, will also promote peace and stability as well as development of the state.
“We all know, who is the former gov. Abdul’aziz Yari, he served the state at his best capacity during his stewardship and he has strong political structure in the state.
“Sen. Marafa also a good leader who delivered a good representation for the state at the Senate during his tenure.

“Therefore, they deserved to be consulted considering their impact on the development of the state”, the traditional rulers explained.
He called on Gov Bello Matawalle to move ahead with the consultations with all stakeholders to move the forward.
“We will continue to support you with prayers, you should not listen to political sycophants.
“You should be careful with selfish politicians who are after their political interest.
“We need peace among our leaders and political stability in order to work for the people of the state”, he added.
Matawalle had last week visited the former gov. Yari and Sen. Marafa in their residences in Kaduna as part of his efforts to address lingering political crisis in the state.
