Heads may roll in kano Hisbah, kano correctional center and kano sharia court over the sudden disappearance of a popular kano tiktoker Murja Ibrahim Kunya from kano prison.
Murja who is one of social media women in kano that campaign hard for governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in 2023 and during the recent annulment of the governor’s election by the tribunal was twice arrested by kano Hisbah over her activities in the social media.
“in one of her video in the social media murja was quoted as saying if you want me send me where to meet you or the hotel to meet you then you pay me and I till render you the services you want”.
In another video she was seen threatening some big men that if they did not leave her alone she will expose them and their sexual activities, this annoyed hisbah commander sheik Daurawa who issued a statement alleging that he recently invited some of them and even gave them money to be of good behavior, but has no choice but arrest her for reneging on their promised.
But the spokes person for kano prisons, yesterday in a statement said all the noise about Murja, the true situation is she spent only two days in prison and was released base on letter sent to the prison by the judge that ordered her detention in the first place, their prison have seven gates and nobody can escape, Murja was duly released.
