NAFDAC boss meet with Yobe CP to Strengthen working Synergy

The Commissioner of Police, Yobe state command CP Emmanuel Ado has received the North East Zonal Director of the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Pharmacist Obiano Livinus, and the State Coordinator, Lawan Musa Dadingel, at the State Command Headquarters in Damaturu.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the police public relations officer Yobe police command Dungus Abdulkarim Said during the advocacy visit, the Director outlined that the visit aimed to strengthen the working collaboration between NAFDAC and the Command to enhance the regulation of food, drugs, and allied matters.

CP Ado acknowledged the importance of this partnership, emphasising that everyone can be a victim of substandard or harmful substances.
The Commissioner expressed his commitment to sustaining the existing relationship with NAFDAC, assuring the Director of robust support, including joint operations, intelligence sharing, and provision of security personnel for escorts and protection of NAFDAC personnel where necessary.
This collaboration according to him underscores the shared goal of ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens in Yobe State.
