Represented by the state chapter of the association Malam Abubakar Umar, the president said education thrives on a strong partnership between parents, educators and government.

According to her, parents should not only enroll their wards in schools but should be monitoring their academic activities in schools to ensure they excel.

“Parents are the first teachers in child’s life and their involvement is essential for a child’s success. NAPPS encourages active parental participation in schools activities, curriculum discussions and open communication with teachers.”, Abubakar said.

The association also advocated that safety, mental health and emotional security within schools should be ensured adding that digital literacy should be adopted in schools in order to inspire students to embrace technology for the advancement of the country.
