Nasarawa State Governor Unveils New TSC Logo and Launches Innovative Teacher Training Program
His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, today attended the induction training program for 781 newly recruited teachers.
This groundbreaking program, themed “Innovative Teaching Strategies for Modern Classrooms,” marks a significant investment in the state’s education sector and represents the first large-scale teacher training initiative of its kind in Nasarawa State.

The Governor personally addressed the newly recruited teachers, emphasizing the importance of their role in shaping the future of the state.
He highlighted the state government’s commitment to improving the quality of education through continuous professional development and the adoption of modern teaching methodologies. The training program, will cover a range of topics.
In addition to the induction program, Governor Sule unveiled a new logo for the Nasarawa State Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC).

The new logo, “features a stylized representation of a graduation ceremony cap, symbolizing knowledge and progress”. This rebranding reflects the state government’s commitment to modernizing the TSC and enhancing its effectiveness in supporting teachers and improving the overall education system.

The event was attended by the State Commissioner for Education, representatives from teacher unions, and other key stakeholders.
Governor Sule reiterated his administration’s dedication to investing in human capital development, particularly in the education sector, as a crucial driver of economic growth and societal progress in Nasarawa State.
